On Tuesday, passengers at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport experienced flight cancellations and delays once again. According to a private news channel, multiple international and domestic flights were affected due to technical and operational issues.

On Sunday, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) warning of potential aircraft slippage on the Jinnah Terminal runway due to rain. The CAA highlighted runway 25L as a risk area due to possible water accumulation, which could result in slippery conditions. Pilots have been advised to exercise extra caution during takeoff and landing on this and other wet runways to avoid accidents. The CAA has also instructed airlines, training institutions, and charter aviation companies to inform their pilots about these risks and ensure they receive appropriate training for managing such conditions safely.
