Elon Musk’s business startup, Neuralink, recently gained attention for starting human trials for its computer chip brain implants and is facing a federal investigation.
The company is in hot waters due to the shocking news that the animal trials of the product on animals resulted in the death of 1,500 animals
Neuralink was founded in 2016 and is establishing coin-size computer chips that will be implanted in human brains to cure paralysis and disabilities.
However, the company is under investigation these days due to the horrifying news regarding animal cruelty.
The complaints that led to the investigation were reported by the internal staff of the company. The staff members are also complaining that due to Elon Musk emphasizing the process to be sped up, hundreds of animals had to suffer from needless suffering and deaths.
Musk also write in February that he is frustrated with the slow work of Nueralink, ‘in general we are not moving fast enough, it is driving me nuts.’
