Kyrgyzstan Students Stranded As KP Govt’s Flight Rejected

A provincial government spokesperson cited that the private plane scheduled for the flight couldn’t depart due to a lack of landing clearance from the Kyrgyzstan Civil Aviation Authority. The planned flight by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to repatriate 300 students from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Peshawar has been postponed.

A provincial government spokesperson stated that the private plane designated for the flight couldn’t depart due to a lack of landing clearance from the Kyrgyzstan Civil Aviation Authority.

Barrister Saif, the Information Advisor for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, affirmed the government’s intention to repatriate 600 students in two separate flights. He noted that the two planes will depart from Lahore airport for Kyrgyzstan as soon as they receive clearance.
