After Apple introduced ads in iOS, YouTube increased advertisements, and Netflix rolled out its new version with ads, Microsoft is also here to bombard your everyday Windows experience with more ads.
Ads will soon be conquering your computers and laptops as well after it was discovered that Microsoft is launching new ads for Windows Start Menu.
However, the ads are being tested right now and only a few misfortunate users have to go through them. According to the reports from some users, Microsoft is testing ads for some Insider builds.
A user has shared some screenshots on Twitter that show Windows 11 promoting the OneDrive cloud and asking the users to back up their files safely.
One of the users has also commented on the quality of Microsoft products, claiming that “Windows 11 is getting worse with each and every update it gets.”
However, some users responded in a positive way saying that the Start Menu is already used for recommendations, claiming the new step is a ‘weird’ one.
