Digital Flood Dashboard Set Up for Transparency in Provision of Flood Aid

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has instructed the government to set up a Digital Flood Dashboard for the transparency of flood relief aid.

Digital Flood Dashboard will be inaugurated today, September 12 by Ahsan Iqbal, the Minister for Planning and Development.

The dashboard will give help the public be able to view the items and funds that Pakistan is receiving for victims at the federal, provincial, and global platforms. It will also include all the information about the distribution and delivery of goods received from donors around the world.

Shahbaz tweeted about the decision saying, “As per my commitment to ensure transparency, Government has decided to get PM Flood Relief Fund audited by AGPR & a private audit firm of global standing.”

He added all the audit reports will be made public, tweeting that, “They will audit all incoming & outgoing funds including where & how the money is spent.”
