Humayun Khilji, a 13-year-old technology enthusiast from Karachi, Pakistan, has been offered a position at HRSPlanet LLC, a U.S.-based technology firm specializing in artificial intelligence and data science.
Humayun began gaining attention in the global tech community for completing AI projects that demonstrate how to develop AI systems using Python and work with advanced datasets—skills rarely seen at such a young age.
Impressed by his clarity, depth of knowledge, and instructional style, HRSPlanet LLC extended a formal offer inviting him to join the company’s research and innovation team. While U.S. labor laws restrict formal employment until a later age, the company’s Pakistani branch office is already exploring mentorship and collaboration options with Humayun and his family.
“We’re truly inspired by Humayun’s technical abilities and passion for AI,” said Ibraheem, CEO of HRSPlanet LLC. “His parents were thrilled to hear from us, and we’re working on ways to support his growth until he’s eligible for official employment.”
His father explained that Humayun’s interest began when he saw older coding videos online a couple of years back. “We initially thought it was a passing interest, but he started making big projects and was working anonymously for clients who didn’t know they were dealing with a 13 year old.”
Outside of coding, Humayun enjoys chess, reading science fiction, solving advanced Rubik cubes, and cycling.
Mr. lbraheem emphasized that Humayun’s ability to both build and communicate complex technologies is what makes him stand out. “He’s not just a young coder—he’s a gifted educator and thinker. We see him becoming a leading force in the tech industry.”
Though no compensation discussions are underway yet, the company says it will revisit the offer as Humayun gets closer to employable age.
“We believe this is just the beginning for him,” Ibraheem said. “We’re honored to be part of his journey.”
