In a historic development, the Balochistan government has unveiled the province’s first-ever air ambulance service, according to ARY News. Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the introduction of this service signifies a significant achievement for the region. Rather than selling one of the government’s two planes, it has been resolved to deploy it for the benefit of the public.

Dubbed as the People’s Air Ambulance service, its goal is to bolster emergency medical services by facilitating rapid patient transfers to major hospitals nationwide, including Quetta, the provincial capital.

CM Bugti stressed the government’s dedication to enhancing service provision in all sectors, with a particular focus on healthcare in Balochistan. He highlighted the potential for substantial enhancements by prioritizing decision-making across different domains.

CM Bugti emphasized the provincial government’s persistent endeavors to improve healthcare services through thorough reforms. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to maximizing the use of existing resources for the benefit of the public.
