Dr. Umar Saif is among one of the most remarkable computer science enthusiast-Pakistani who has managed to actually make an impact due to his noteworthy accomplishments.
From being named by MIT as one of the top 35 young innovators in the world to being the CEO of SurveyAuto, now AiSight, to being an advisor to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Dr. Umar Saif has made quite a mark and it’s no wonder he has been awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan.
A Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, Saif is a founder of several technology companies and serves on the board of different public, financial, and private organizations.
He is also the founder and CEO of AiSight, an AI-based data reporting, and analysis startup as well as the CIO of Khudi Ventures.
Umar Saif wrote a note today sharing the accomplishments that AiSight.ai has achieved in 3 years that said,
“This year SurveyAuto (now aiSight.ai) is set to expand to 30 countries with 100 clients. Took us 3 years to build an AI-based revenue growth engine for FMCGs. This year our enterprise SaaS platform should cross $4 Million ARR — without any external funding.”

Saif was also included in the 500 most influential Muslims in the world list consecutively for 4 years due to his significant achievements that are never-ending, each being more outstanding than the previous.
Dr. Umar Saif is also the founder of Information Technology University (ITU) which has been modeled after MIT, where he taught for several years, and serves as one of the best technological universities in the country.
Dr. Saif is currently the Chief Digital Officer of the Jang Group and has also served as the head of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and has been a member of the Cabinet.
