Reviews of Asian Wok:
Here’s what people on social media have to say about Asian Wok:
- “Friday afternoon with my lovelies …. a visit to the Asian Wok after a very long time .
Gladly , no long wait , we gif a table as soon as we arrived after jumma time .
They have expanded quite a lot though, spread out around the basement . Yes their mint margaritas are still as good as ever ( and free ) .
Served with drinks and crackers upon arrival .
Service was spot on throughout .
Only glitch is , since it’s the outdoors and the alley has a wind pocket , the food got cold real quick
Our order included :
Plain fries for the baby
Chicken manchurian 8/10( I have had better )
Egg fried rice 9/10
Thai rice noodles tossed in chicken and veggeis, quite likeable 9/10
The serving sizes were good … we were three and weren’t able to finish up our food . I felt it sufficient for atleast 4 if not five .
Total cost 5300/-
Yes it’s expensive but likeable.”
- “I am a regular visitor of Asian Wok which is our go to place during lunch time. Thier recently added Japanese cuisine is awesome while my personal favourite is Live Tipinyaki. The food they serve is mouth watering and free mint margarita with crackers are always a delight to enjoy. A must go place for all pan Asian food lovers.”
- “We have been to this restaurant many times and the found the quality of food quite good. They have a good variety of Chinese and Thai dishes on their menu. There buffet has a good number of dishes on the card. However, we did observe that their Chinese and Thai dishes are not very different ….. so you might find the Chinese with a bit of Thai touch and vice versa. The ambiance is good. The restaurant is usually overcrowded and the overall environment is quite noisy. Not a very cheap restaurant, it will cost you 1200 to 2100 per head, depending on the menu. There is not dedicated parking for the restaurant one will have to use the parking of Beverly Center which might be a problem during rush hours.”
- “The customer service here was fantastic! After being served complimentary mint margaritas and crackers upon arrival, we were pleased to see the staff constantly at hand to refill our drinks without us even asking. The food was pleasant and served in good quantity on on small food warmers which kept our food hot throughout. After underestimating the spice of the Kung Pao chicken, they replaced it straight away with a less spicy version. The staff was attentive and very helpful, making this restaurant stand out. The complimentary green tea was the cherry on top .Great ambiance, great service, great food. We’ll be visiting again.”
