The FBR team raided one of the top clothing brands “Outfitters” head office in Lahore on Tuesday, 27 September 2022. The reason behind this raid of the Federal Board of Revenue at the Outfitter’s head office was to obtain the records of the audit proceedings against the company.
According to reports, the officials of the Federal Board of Revenue told the media that the raid was approved by Zulqarnain Ali Shaheen Herald, presently posted as Commissioner-IR (Audit-III), Corporate Tax Office, Lahore.
The company was selected for the audit but they were not cooperating with the authorities. The company was not providing the audit records in the ongoing audit proceedings.
In this raid, the team of the Regional Corporate Tax Office recovered all the records and seized the computers and laptops at the headquarter of Outfitters in Lahore.
