It’s Official; Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza are Divorced

Sania Mirza’s decision to fall in love with a Pakistani nationalist at the time was a brave one, given the political tensions between the two nations. It caused controversy across the country, with many criticizing the top tennis player. But as the saying goes, love conquers all, and so it was with her relationship with Shoaib Malik that all the hate and criticism subsided eventually.

Sania Mirza got engaged to Shoaib Malik back in 2009. The couple finally got married in April 2010.

After 12 years of marriage, the couple finally decided to get divorced. Close acquaintances of the couple claim that they have already decided to separate and just formalities remain until the paperwork is completed.

A resource from the management team of Malik has confirmed the new, stating that ‘Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza have ended the 12 years of marriage.’

Shoaib Malik is in Pakistan working as an analyst for A Sports during the T20 World Cup, while Sania is in Dubai. Sania shared a photo on her Instagram recently that caused rumors of their breakup.

Shoaib hosting the Pakistani cricket show “Ask the Pavillion,” was questioned about the location of Sania’s tennis academies, which is another intriguing fact that has the fans worried. Shoaib responded that he didn’t have much knowledge of the academies.

Sania did not share any photos from the party on her Instagram, despite the fact that the pair recently celebrated the birthday of their son Izhaan together. Fans have been informed, and many appear to be anticipating.
