Zindigi, with JS Bank, Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), People Bus Service, and Mastercard, revolutionizes Karachi’s public transportation.

Together, they’ve launched an advanced digital payment system to enhance urban travel in Karachi, bringing it up to international standards. This initiative offers unmatched convenience for millions of commuters in the city.

A milestone for Karachi’s transit system, the initial rollout includes distributing over one million Zindigi Mastercard Travel cards and enabling existing Zindigi Card users to go cashless.

These cards facilitate a smooth transition for commuters from cash to digital payments, reducing wait times and simplifying fare payments across Karachi’s bus networks. Additionally, apart from travel, the card meets recipients’ banking needs, providing a comprehensive solution for daily transactions.

Noman Azhar, Chief Officer at Zindigi, expressed his thoughts on the initiative: “Contributing to the progressive initiatives of the Sindh government is truly inspiring. Zindigi, with its visionary approach, aims to enhance the lives of the masses by offering simplified solutions to all their unmet needs. We provide banking services in an unconventional manner, dedicated to transforming entire journeys to create a positive impact. This open-loop transport card is a first in Pakistan, providing customers access to the entire banking system, usable for commuting on buses as well as regular debit card transactions at ATMs and POS machines nationwide.”
