Some Pakistani actors and celebrity stylists are receiving severe backlash for making fun of the PTI chairman and former Premiere, Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi.
Actor Yawar Iqbal appeared at a Halloween party last night, wearing a white burqa and a niqab, dressed as Bushra Bibi. The actor was styled by the well-known celebrity stylist Khoji and the famous makeup artist Nabila.
However, netizens did not find the look funny or cool and the actors have been receiving serious backlash from people all over social media for making fun of Islamic values.
Using a woman’s dressing style as your Halloween costume and ridiculing her just because she chooses to cover herself differently.

Netizens also lashed out at the Pakistani actress Areeba Habib who shared these pictures on her Instagram story. Habib also received flak for her choices of covering herself.
However, Habib later on apologized to the public and also added that she was just admiring the look and she loves her religion and its attires, she posted on her Instagram story, “I want to sincerely apologize for my oversight. Will make sure, I am careful with my postings from here on. Apologies and Love, AH.”.

Emerging actor Yawar Iqbal also made a derogatory statement against Bushra Bibi from his official Instagram account along with his pictures of being dressed up as her.
A lot of people took to Twitter to defend Bushar Bibi and lashed out at these celebrities for mocking fun of a women dressing the way that the women in Islam and told to.
