WhatsApp has recently launched a new feature called “Call Links”. Through this feature, it will be easier for people to join a WhatsApp group call.
The “Call links” feature of WhatsApp works exactly as the invite links work on other conference applications such as Zoom and Google Meet. Users can join WhatsApp group calls just by tapping on this link. You can also conduct a small meeting on WhatsApp via this link.
The number of users who can join WhatsApp call through this link is still limited but Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of WhatsApp and Meta, has said that the company is now testing this feature for more than 30 users so the limit will soon increase. Any user of WhatsApp, whether they are in your contact list or not, will be able to join the group call if invited through this link.
