Two Pakistani Umpires Confirmed as Officials in T20 World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has picked umpires Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza from Pakistan as the official umpires in the Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 taking place in Australia.

ICC announced the list of 20 match officials for the first round and Super stages of Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 which will be held in Australia.

ICC issued an official press release stating, “It is an experienced group of umpires, with the same 16 selected as last year’s tournament which was held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.”

The tournament will be officiated by a total of 16 umpires. Umpires Nitin Menon, Richard Kettleborough, Kumar Dharmasena, and Marais Erasmus are also among the selected umpires that were also in charge during the T20WC 2021.

The umpires include Adrian Holdstock, Joel Wilson, Kumara Dharmasena, Langton Rusere, Marais Erasmus, Michael Gough, Nitin Menon, Aleem Dar, Ahsan Raza, Christopher Brown, Christopher Gaffaney, Joel Wilson, Kumara Dharmasena, Langton Rusere, Marais Erasmus, Michael Gough, Nitin Menon, Paul Reiffel, Paul Wilson, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, and Rodney Tucker.

Meanwhile, the match referees areDavid Boon, Andrew Pycroft, Christopher Broad, and Ranjan Madugalle.
