On Tuesday, the gold price in Pakistan dropped by Rs. 500 per tola, settling at Rs. 240,000.
As per data released by the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of gold (24 carats) decreased by Rs. 500 per tola to Rs. 240,000, with a Rs. 429 drop in the price of 10 grams to Rs. 205,761.
Contrarily, yesterday witnessed a surge in the local market, with the price of gold increasing by Rs. 2,500 per tola. However, last week saw a significant decline of Rs. 6,400 per tola, while over the past two weeks, the decline amounted to Rs. 14,200 per tola.
In the international market, spot gold remained stable at $2,320.69 per ounce as of 0638 GMT, while US gold futures remained unchanged at $2,328.40.
