On Wednesday, the gold price in Pakistan rose following declines during the initial two days of the week.
As per data released by the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of gold (24 carats) surged by Rs. 2,900 per tola to reach Rs. 241,100, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs. 2,487 to Rs. 209,191.
This uptick follows a Rs. 1,200 decrease in the local market price of the precious metal on both Monday and Tuesday. The modest decline occurred subsequent to a Rs. 5,500 per tola rise in the price during the preceding week.
In the global market, spot gold saw a 0.5 percent increase, reaching $2,368.62 per ounce as of 0943 GMT, while US gold futures also rose by 0.6 percent to $2,374.40.
