Today, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb convened a meeting with Naeem Mir, Chairman of the Supreme Council of All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran.
The gathering, which also included the FBR chairman, provided an opportunity to deliberate on pressing matters affecting the business community and economic strategies.
During the session, the minister acknowledged the significant role played by the business community in Pakistan’s economic progress. He reiterated the government’s dedication to resolving issues and advancing the interests of traders and entrepreneurs nationwide. Additionally, he underscored the importance of encouraging business community members to register on the newly introduced Tajir Dost App, tailored to cater to their needs and streamline processes.
Mir conveyed the concerns and recommendations of the business community to the minister, emphasizing the obstacles encountered by traders and entrepreneurs in Pakistan. He also commended the government’s initiatives to cultivate a favorable business environment, streamline tax policies, and stimulate investment opportunities to bolster economic advancement. Furthermore, he pledged the support of the business community in embracing the Tajir Dost App.
The minister reiterated the government’s determination to collaborate closely with the business sector to address their issues and facilitate their contributions to the nation’s economic progress. He stressed the importance of cooperation between the government and private enterprises in devising policies conducive to entrepreneurship and business expansion.
Both parties engaged in constructive discussions on a range of topics, including tax reforms, trade facilitation measures, and initiatives to promote small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to implementing inclusive economic policies that empower the business community and foster sustainable growth.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to sustain the dialogue and partnership between the government and the business community for the advancement of Pakistan’s economy.
