ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: After setting up camps in two different places in Rawalpindi, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) long march is anticipated to enter Islamabad via Murree Road.
According to information gathered by the capital police on the PTI long march, senior police officials reported that the march’s participants were expected to set up camp between Mandra and Gujar Khan on their way to Islamabad.
They claimed that after a long march, Marir Hassan and T-Chowk would be reached.
The PTI president Imran Khan is likely to stay at Punjab House in Rawalpindi, according to the officials, who also added that the long march will travel via Murree Road before stopping in Shamsabad.
Pims will continue to be on high alert because to the ongoing political upheaval and the extended march, according to a directive signed by Hospital Director Dr. Khalid Masud.
It added that heads of general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic, and other departments are also requested to ensure the presence of on-call doctors in accordance with the duty roster created in collaboration with the medical director’s office.
The shift duty staff and emergency staff will carry out their duties, as usual, it said.
In the meantime, weapons and anti-riot gear, such as tear gas shells and rubber bullets, were also provided to all the police stations.
