A day after the party leader narrowly avoided an assassination attempt, the PTI senior leader announced via his Twitter account.
There will be a protest around the nation today following the Friday prayer. “National protests will continue until Imran Khan’s demand is satisfied,” Umar wrote in the tweet.
Fawad Chaudhry, the head of the PTI, also revealed the party’s strategy and urged every Pakistani to take part in the protest by tweeting that the party has called for a nationwide strike following Friday prayers.
The objective was to arrive at the federal capital by November 4 before this announcement. Later, it was changed to November 8 but again to November 11. Fawad Chaudhry, the leader of the PTI, then declared that the party would keep altering the dates to “wear the administration out.”
A protest against the attack on the PTI leader would take place in front of Lal Haveli, according to Sheikh Rashid, the leader of the Awami Muslim League (AML) and a PTI ally.
In a case involving sloganeering against the PML-N leadership in Saudi Arabia, the former interior minister made the remarks while testifying before a high court.
“I’ll discuss politics today at 2:00 PM. We need to salvage our nation and move it in the right direction”, he said.
Shireen Mazari, a former minister for human rights and prominent party figure, requested the dismissal of the assassination plotters the PTI leader has identified.
Imran Khan will preside over a consultative meeting that the top PTI leadership has chosen to hold today at 1 pm, according to Musarrat Cheema, the chief minister of Punjab’s spokeswoman.
Following the discussion at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Cheema declared on Twitter that additional action plans would be made public.
