Health experts have recommended parents keep an eye on their children’s behavior, shifting habits, and other indicators as more young people fall prey to drug addiction in order to prevent them from falling through the gaps.

Clinical Psychologist Mariam Riaz stated that both male and female young people get drug addiction frequently and that parents should watch their children’s company and mood swings for early prevention and treatment.

They identified a number of reasons, including busy schedules, financial limitations, mental stress, and bad relationships, as the primary causes of drug usage in youngsters.

She warned parents to be concerned if their kids become irritated, don’t care about personal hygiene, or spend too much time in the bathroom or outside. If parents are concerned about their children’s drug use, she argued that they should be monitoring their friends’ social networks, phone conversations, and internet searches.

Clinical Psychologist Shamsheer Hayat described how to treat addiction and claimed that therapy, counseling, and close patient observation can entirely cure drug addiction.

He explained that in order to treat and cure their charges’ addictions, guardians of addicts should hire the services of a licensed rehabilitation facility. According to him, the patient’s health is monitored by a group of medical experts, psychiatrists, and clinical psychologists before the detoxification process is begun as the first stage of treatment.
