The reports claim that Shan’s wedding would take place on January 21 in Peshawar, while his reception will be held on January 27 in Karachi.
Recent Twitter trends included his name among the top ones. But it wasn’t because of the announcement of his marriage; rather, it was because of his dismal performance in the current Test series.
The left-handed pitcher is the son of renowned financier Mansoor Masood Khan, and his uncle Waqar Masood Khan served as former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s minister of state in cabinet and advisor on tax and finance.
The Kuwaiti-born player has played for Pakistan in 27 Tests, 5 ODIs, and 19 T20Is throughout the course of his career, scoring close to 2000 runs.
He played his first Test against South Africa in 2013, but he didn’t receive an international call-up until 2019 and 2022, respectively, for ODIs and T20Is.

On February 3, 2023, Shaheen will also get married to Ansha Afridi, the daughter of former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi.
