As per a directive from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Thursday, Pakistan is forecasted to encounter heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms until April 29. The NDMA has urged the Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs), District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs), and other pertinent departments to undertake preparatory measures in advance. In a press release, the authority emphasized the importance of deploying machinery and ensuring the availability of staff in vulnerable areas ahead of time.
