Following the CWG, two Pakistani boxers Baloch and Nazirullah disappeared from Birmingham airport.

Suleman Baloch and Nazirullah, the two boxers from Pakistan’s contingent for the 2022 Commonwealth Games went missing from the Birmingham airport.

What makes the disappearance more suspicious is that the travel documents of both the boxers were in possession of the team management. Pakistan Olympic Association and Boxing Federation of Pakistan came under fire for their negligence.

Nazirullah participated in the lightweight category and Baloch in the 63 kg category. The two athletes suffered defeat from England’s Lewis Williams and India’s Shiva Thapa, respectively.

The London Police have been informed and it’s suspected the boxers want to remain in England to avoid returning to Pakistan where unemployment and inflation rates are increasing dramatically.

This is not the first time that athletes have gone missing from a major sporting event in a foreign wealthy country.
