A future fighter jet from the UK, the Tempest will have all the advanced systems including AI to analyze brain signals
The next-generation fighter jet from the UK named the Tempest will contain advanced technology including AR, VR, and AI in its flight control system. It would also include AI that will be able to read the pilot’s mind to monitor the conditions of their surroundings.
The Tempest will not have a completely automated system like drones as it will require a combination of human and machine control, which is referred to as “scalable autonomy”. The AI will be incorporated into the pilot’s helmet and it will have the ability to control the jet in case the pilot becomes unconscious.
Test flights of the UK’s new fighter jet from the future are all set to begin in 2027 and might be deployed by 2035.
