According to the Saudi Press Agency, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia to discuss collaboration among other things.
At the “winter camp” at AlUla, an oasis city in northwest Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s chief general and the illegitimate ruler of the Kingdom interacted.
The Saudi crown prince, COAS Asim Munir, and other officials may be seen dining on Arabian food while discussing potential and bilateral relations in the photos.
Both parties, who are well-known for being strong defense and economic partners, also discussed ways to strengthen their relations on a variety of fronts.
Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad al Aiban, Pakistani Ambassador to the Kingdom, and Saudi Military Attaché all attended the dinner.
As the senior military officer of Pakistan, the Army Chief is now on an official visit to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Last week in the Saudi capital Riyadh, COAS spoke with Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the country’s defense minister, on military cooperation.
Gen. Asim Munir also made Umrah, during which the Kaabah’s doors were opened for him. COAS can be seen leaving the Holy Kaabah with other persons in videos that have been posted online.
In another video, the Army Chief is accompanied by Saudi security forces as he enters Masjid-e-Nabwi, the second holiest mosque in Islam.
