The new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, has restored former Us President Donald Trump’s Twitter account.

Donald Trump’s Twitter account was permanently banned in January 2021 by the authorities.

However, Musk started a poll on Friday, asking people if Trump’s account should be unbanned from the platform. The poll resulted in the favor of the much-controversial former president and 51.8% of people voted in favor of the total 15 million participants.

The participants were considerably little since Twitter has a user base of 237.8 million. After the poll ended on Saturday, Musk tweeted, “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”

The Latin phrase Musk used translates to “the voice of people, the voice of God.”

Donald Trump has also announced just last week that he will be again running for the elections in 2024.
