Indian Cricket Team’s star and former captain Virat Kohli became the highest run-scorer in the history of World Cup T20 history.
Kohli broke the record of 1016 runs by Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene’s by making 1065 runs on 2nd November in India’s match against Bangladesh.
The batman scored 64 off 44 balls and remained not out, resulting in 184/6 against Bangladesh.

Kohli debuted in 2010 and has since played 113 innings for the T20 international. The former captain holds a stellar average of 88.75.
The star cricketer’s highest score is 89 against West Indies. The former captain of the Indian team has scored 13 half-centuries in T20 World Cup.
