Karachiites Can Now Celebrate the New Year at Sea View

The iconic public beach Sea view will stay open on December 31, according to a statement from the Karachi police on Thursday as New Year’s Eve nears.

People of the metropolitan are welcome to participate in the New Year’s Eve celebrations in the amusement area, according to Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Syed Asad Raza of District South in a statement.

The police will take special security steps to maintain safety and harmony on the property, although beachgoers are suggested to maintain composure throughout gatherings.

According to him, security operations around and within Sea view would involve almost 2,500 police officers.

The policeman sternly warned individuals who engaged in unpleasant behavior, “Celebrate New Year within civil law; hoarding will not be permitted.”

The law enforcement official also cautioned the populace that aerial gunfire might result in charges of attempted murder. Additionally, he warned city residents to avoid reckless driving and one-wheeling.

According to Raza, 150 women constables will also be assigned security responsibilities on New Year’s Eve in addition to the Shaheen Force and mounted police, who would be stationed on the routes to safeguard the public.

The roadway next to Sea view will remain one-way starting at 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, and the police have issued a warning against using unneeded fireworks.
