Islamabad’s New IT Park to Generate 15,000+ Job Opportunities

Ministry of Science and Technology has confirmed that the construction of the new Information Technology (IT) Park in Islamabad will start in September.

After the completion of the construction of this IT Park Building, it will provide office space to more than 120 IT startups and this startup will generate more than 15,000 jobs for the IT professionals in the country.

Other than office space, it will also provide other facilities like industry-academia linkage centers, classrooms, research laboratories, and testing laboratories.

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication is taking this initiative with the help of financial assistance from the Exim Bank of South Korea. 88.8 million USD is the total cost of the development of this IT Park. South Korea will be providing 76.3 million USD for the project and the rest will be covered by Pakistan.
