On Tuesday, the price of gold in Pakistan decreased by nearly Rs. 8,000 per tola, attributed to reduced worries about a potential escalation in the Middle East crisis, which also led to a decline in international prices.

As per data released by the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of gold (24 carats) dropped by Rs. 7,800 per tola to Rs. 240,900, with the price of 10 grams decreasing by Rs. 6,687 to Rs. 206,533.

This marks the second consecutive day of decline. Yesterday, the gold price fell by Rs. 3,500 per tola. Overall, the gold price has fallen by Rs. 11,300 per tola over the past two days.

Today, in the international market, gold prices reached a more than two-week low, with spot gold declining by 1.2 percent to $2,298.58 per ounce as of 0945 GMT.
