According to meteorological expert Jawad Memon, colder weather will start to affect Karachi on Tuesday.

The majority of the country has been hit by a cold wave, and the expert warned that the severity of the cold will get worse in higher elevations. In addition, he claimed, the cold would get worse in Sindh while the westerly wind system has departed Balochistan.

Memon said that starting tomorrow; strong, dry, and chilly winds would come in from the north, bringing lower daytime and nighttime temperatures to the whole metropolis.

He claimed that Karachi’s nighttime low might be in the single digits. The weather specialist said that Karachi’s daytime temperature might range from 23 to 26°C and that its nighttime temperature could be as low as 7-9°C.

The meteorological expert predicts that on January 7 or 8, another westerly wind system might approach the nation through Balochistan. He warned that westerly wind systems may start to move into the nation on January 15.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts that the city’s temperature will range between 10 and 12 °C on Tuesday and 9 and 11 °C on Wednesday.

The PMD data indicates that other Sindh cities, including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Thatta, Dadu, and Mithi, would also see a dip in temperature starting on Tuesday.

A shallow trough of a westerly wave began to influence western regions of the country on December 29, according to the most recent PMD report.

According to the Met department, Karachi saw its coldest day on record between December 22 and 23, when the city’s average temperature dropped to 10°C.
