England Cricket Team Arrives in Pakistan After 17 Years

Karachi: England’s Cricket Team has arrived in Pakistan for a seven-match Twenty20 (T20) series for the first time in 17 years.

The team arrived on Thursday morning on an Emirates flight via Dubai. Strict security arrangements have been made for the visiting team for their drive to the hotel from Jinnah International Airport.

The team will be playing against home team, Pakistan in a T20Is series. The matches are divided to be held in Karachi and Lahore from 20th September to 2nd October. The first four matches of the series will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi, while the other three will be played in Lahore at the Gaddafi Stadium.

While talking about the preparations being completed at the National Stadium, a source stated that, “Four pitches have been prepared for the series on the ground.”

Eoin Morgan, Skipper of England’s team will be is expected to address a press conference later in the day today.  

The English team will also start training at the National Stadium from 16th September.
