The Chinese business leaders were invited by the prime minister to come to Pakistan and contribute to the government’s extensive solar energy initiative, which aims to produce 10,000 megawatts of electricity. He also exhorted them to make investments in Pakistan’s renewable energy sources, such as its wind farms.

According to him, the State Bank of Pakistan established a revolving fund with a seed investment of Rs. 50 billion at the direction of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need for the infrastructure of the Gwadar International Airport to be finished as soon as possible, and the Chinese corporations promised to do so by the start of 2023.

He regretted the challenges Chinese businesses had to deal with in the past when it came to making payments for imported coal.

He promised that the Mohmand Dam would be finished as soon as possible and that the Pakistani government will give top priority to resolving the land acquisition problems for the Diamer-Bhasha Dam.

He stated his belief that Pakistan and China’s strong business and investment ties would further solidify their bilateral ties.
