Official work and essential affairs come to a halt as CM Punjab fails to form his cabinet

Just eight days after being selected as the new Chief Minister of Punjab, Pervaiz Elahi has failed to form a cabinet yet which has brought all the official work of different ministries and departments to a halt.

All the affairs have been put on hold by the departments as there are no guidelines from the provincial government. Before this, the financial and administrative affairs were already badly affected due to the chaos of the removal of chief minister Usman Buzdar and a delay in the oath-taking of former chief minister Hamza Shahbaz.

All the important administrative and financial decisions of all the departments and allied departments such as education and health cannot be taken which is adversely affecting the annual development programs, new megaprojects, and ongoing development projects.

The sources have stated that the sooner the provincial cabinet is formed, the better it is for Punjab as a lot of the important decisions are being delayed for the last few days related to administrative and financial matters.
