Karachi is the main hub of Pakistan with diverse culture, food, and a lot of tourist attractions. The streets of this urban jungle are always bustling with activity but the serenity that can be found in the quiet corners of Karachi makes the city worth it. From the sunset of beautiful beaches to desi food streets Karachi has a lot to offer and this is why it is a must-visit for every tourist.

Karachi has some amazing locations that you can visit, some of them are hidden gems that even the people living in Karachi have not visited while some have been urbanized to the extent that you’ll witness a huge crowd there no matter which time or day you decide to go. 1. Churna Island:

Situated a drive of mere 2 hours away from Karachi, Churna Island is a water adventure and recreational sports hub for people who love everything sea. A fairly new spot in the tourism scene in the city, Churna Island is a place where you will get your dose of all the sea-sports activities. From swimming to scuba diving, hiking to snorkeling, and jet skiing, Churna Island offers something for everyone. The beautiful clear waters here also inhabit a lot of different types of sea creatures such as snakes, fishes, turtles, and much more that will make scuba diving an unforgettable experience.  

2. Do Darya:

A favorite among all the food lovers, Do Darya offers you a local and fine dining experience right by the seashore. There are numerous restaurants situated here that you can try that offer everything from local food to steaks to delicious desserts. The best time to visit Do Darya is in the evening so that you can witness the beautiful sunset here while enjoying the food. A lot of the restaurants here also offer hi-tea and buffets over the weekend that allow you the perfect chance to taste a variety of dishes at good rates.

3. Chaukhandi Tombs:

Chaukhandi Tombs is an ancient site, or rather a graveyard, located far east of Karachi. The tombs are crafted intricately from sand and used to belong to the Jokhio tribe to bury their dead. These tombs were built during the Mughal era in the 15th century and are extremely beautiful to look at. If you are a history buff then this site of unique architecture will definitely impress you. You will be in awe of how the carvings and detailing on these tombs look in the golden sunlight.  

4. Clifton:

How can we miss out on the OG? Clifton is probably the most common and popular tourist attraction in Karachi. Also known as sea view, the site is home to a few recreational activities and a lot of restaurants nearby. The evenings here are really serene and peaceful. When the sun sets, you can see the golden grains of sand glowing and feel the spirit of Karachi in its true form. There are also a lot of hotels here where you can stay if you want to live near the beach and want to enjoy the daily early morning walks.

5. Zainab Market:

Located in the busy area of Saddar, Zainab Market is a local shopping center that specializes in handicrafts and textiles. From traditional clothing to Sindhi Ajraks to handmade jewelry, you will find it all here. If you are looking for a souvenir to take back home, buy something from Zainab Market since it offers authentic Pakistani stuff and the rates are great too. You can bargain with the vendors as well to get something at an even less price. Zainab Market is probably the most happening area in the city and you will be met with a huge crowd of people here every time you visit.

Some other tourist attractions of the city include Mohatta Palace, Burns Road Food Street, Mazar-e-Quaid, TDF Ghar, Maritime Museum, and Frere Hall. There are also plenty of malls here including one of the largest in Asia, LuckyOne where you will be able to find everything from top international brands to local ones.
