Armed Robbers Steal Peanuts Worth Rs. 4 million

In a different turn of events, there has been a massive robbery in Rawalpindi consisting of armed robbers stealing a trailer truck of peanuts.

The robbers also took cash and mobile phones from the people in the trailer.

The victim, Rafiullah, has informed police authorities that he was traveling with his crew members in a 22-wheel-trailer truck that is worth Rs. 1.9 million to Peshawar.

The robbers took the truck along with peanuts worth Rs. 4 million.

When the trailer reached Mouza Dhadhumber, 3 armed individuals stopped them and snatched the loaded trailer along with Rs. 300,000 cash as well as 3 mobile phones.

“The robbers tied our hands and feet and escaped away while issuing threats to us,” Rafiullah said in his statement.

The case happened within the limits of Chakri police and they have started an investigation.

A police spokesperson has also reported that the complainant is suspicious of one of his former employees.
