Islamabad: Asim Azhar and Hasan Raheem recently became a victim of a scam company Summerjam Colourfest. The singers were ready for the same concert and fans were excited to see two of the most sought-after artists in Pakistan together. However, the concert turned out to be a scam.

The concert was supposed to be held on 11th September in the capital. However, the concert turned out to be a scam and the singers took to their Instagram accounts to break the news to the eager fans. Hassan Raheem uploaded a post saying, “Really sad about the whole situation. I apologize to all the people who came out to have a good time tonight. We weren’t paid by the organizers on time. Kindly get your refunds from Summerjam Colourfest.”

Asim Azhar uploaded a similar post about the scam of a concert and wrote, “Summerjam Colourfest is a scam and the organizers are frauds.” He encouraged all those who had bought tickets to the concert. Please get your refunds on all tickets and sponsorships. And please beware of any further events by them.” Asim also explained why the concert was cancelled and said, “Due to non-payment, fraud and mis commitment from the organizers, we won’t be performing tonight in Islamabad.”

Both the artists vowed to take legal action against the fraudulent organizers. Asim Azhar announced that “Me and my management will be taking legal action against the organizers of this festival who have fooled the fans in buying tickets and getting sponsors using our names and at the end not letting us perform due to non-payment.”

Hasan Raheem also shared a similar plan, “We will be taking legal action against them for wasting everyone’s time and money.”

The organizers, Summerjam Colourfest, have since deleted their social media handles.
