In light of the visit by foreign dignitaries to the city, the Commissioner of Karachi Division has declared a public holiday on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024.

As per an official notification released on April 21st, a decision has been taken to prevent any inconvenience to the public caused by the visit and traffic restrictions.

The notification specifies that all government and private offices, along with educational institutions in the Karachi Division, will be shut for the day. Nevertheless, essential services and personnel engaged in emergency duties will operate normally.

It is recommended for citizens to schedule their activities accordingly and expect alterations in traffic flow and public services throughout the duration of the visit.

While the Karachi Division’s administration hasn’t provided additional information regarding the visit by the dignitaries or the schedule, heightened security measures are anticipated to be implemented in the city to ensure the seamless execution of events during this period.

As the public holiday in Karachi approaches, residents are reminded to stay informed about any forthcoming updates from local authorities.
