The third wife of the late MNA and religious scholar Aamir Liaquat was detained by cybercrime wing of FIA following an operation led in the district of Lodhran, Punjab.
As per the official statement given by the FIA official, the accused was detained because she posted a private video of her spouse Dr. Aamir Liaquat online.
The arrest was made after the daughter of late Dr. Aamir Hussain Liaquat filed a complaint against the accused. Detention was made after thorough investigation of the case, FIA official said.
Her arrest has been making the rounds in the media. The public has been bashing and criticizing Dania Malik for her immoral behavior defending the late televangelist Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
Salma Bibi, Dania’s mother, claimed that the police and other officials “barged” into their house and took Dania into custody. I’ve arrived at the police station, but nobody is saying anything, and Dania isn’t here either.
The National Assembly (MNA) member and PTI dissident Liaquat passed away on June 9 in Karachi. The media community was shocked by his untimely demise, and people voiced their dislike at the online trolls who had stressed the well-known TV anchor over his failed third marriage.
The late anchor’s son received the body, and Chippa performed the final rituals. In Clifton, Karachi, Hussain was buried in a cemetery on the grounds of the Abdullah Shah Ghazi mausoleum.
Later, there was discussion over digging him up to determine the cause of death but, the action was prevented after the judgment by court ruled against it.
