PEACE Submarine Cable Completed Between Pakistan and France

The submarine cable has a capacity of 96 TBps for the Pakistan-Egypt Segment.  

PEACE Cable International Network Co. Ltd (PEACE Cable) has completed the construction and laying of PEACE submarine cable infrastructure in Pakistan with, the leading Internet and data communication network service provider, Cyber Internet Services (Cybernet),

The Pakistan-Egypt segment of PEACE has achieved final splicing, enabling connectivity from Karachi, Pakistan to Marseille, France to be ready for service.

The PEACE Pakistan-Egypt segment, covers a total length of 5,800 km, connecting Karachi, Pakistan, and Zafarana, Egypt.  The landings of Karachi and Zafarana were completed in March and December 2021 respectively

Pakistan will have access to high-speed internet, and large-volume bandwidth with express connectivity to France due to the deployment of the PEACE submarine cable system. Due to its ultra-low latency design, this cable will reduce latency between Pakistan and France to 92 milliseconds.

PEACE has a capacity of up to 96 TBps for the Pakistan – Egypt segment and 192 TBps for the Mediterranean segment from Egypt connecting to France.
