Educational Institutions in Indian Occupied Kashmir are making the Muslim students who are studying in these institution sing Hindu Bhajans and making them do Surya Namaskar.

The Religious scholars and clerics of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU) strongly condemned this act of discrimination against Muslim students in Educational Institutions. In the meeting of MMU, which was held on Sunday at the Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, the Religious Scholars said these practices are hurting the religious sentiments of the Muslims living in Jammu Kashmir.

The MMU has called these practices a challenge to the religious beliefs of the Muslims of Jammu Kashmir. According to the press release, the MMU has notified the educational institutions and concerned authorities that this act by these institutions is intolerable and they should stop these kinds of practices that are causing distress and grief for the Muslim students.

The scholars advised the parents of Muslim students to remove their children from the schools that are forcing such practices on these students. The scholars also encouraged Muslims teachers to stand against this act.
