According to reports, Russia is willing to supply petrol to the country of Pakistan. This move will be a big help for the country of Pakistan which is currently facing an economic crisis. Importing petroleum products is expensive and a great amount of foreign exchange reserve is spent on importing petrol from other countries.  However, the supply of petroleum products from Russia will help in stabilizing the Forex reserves of the country.

The report of this development came after the meeting of Prime Minister Shehbaz Shareef with the president of Russia Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which was held in Samarkand.

According to reports, both presidents discussed the development of the flood-hit country. The discussion was mainly about the supply of oil, gas, and wheat from Russia to Pakistan. There was no obligation from the United States on this development as Pakistan is in a deep economic crisis after the flooding all over the country.

The Government of Pakistan has not yet announced the confirmation for this development officially. If Government works for this development, it will be a major help in this economic crisis.
